"We had the BEST experience with Southern Skies Events! They were so responsive to all my questions/inquiries throughout the entire wedding planning process.
My assigned planner Sarah was absolutely AMAZING! Besides having the best personality and being so much fun to work with she had everything so organized and detailed! I could not have asked for a better person to help in the planning process. She was always 3 steps ahead of me, coordinated with all my vendors, answered my 1 million questions happily and with a smile, and knew exactly what I needed the week of/day before/day of the wedding. We had multiple meetings to brainstorm and finalize details. The day of she was incredible. We brought multiple mirrors, shelves, etc. from home to be set up and Sarah did it all exactly how I pictured with no assistance from me. I experienced ZERO stress and did not have to lift a finger. I was able to relax, enjoy the moment, and calmly take it all in because Sarah did it all and rocked at it! Not to mention everything at the end of the night got packed up smoothly and I never even saw her do it! Truly the best person to work with and now a friend! Everyone needs a Sarah throughout their wedding planning process!"

"I cannot say enough wonderful things about working with Sarah! From our very first meeting, I knew she was the perfect fit for us. She was incredibly patient with my endless stream of questions (and I mean endless – I'm pretty sure I messaged her at least once a day leading up to the wedding!). No matter how small or detailed my concern was, she always responded thoughtfully and made me feel heard.
I'm extremely detail-oriented, and instead of finding that overwhelming, she completely matched my energy. She gave excellent suggestions that elevated our vision while still keeping everything authentically "us." She understood exactly what we wanted and helped bring it all to life in ways I couldn't have imagined.
Our wedding day itself was absolute perfection, and that's entirely thanks to her and Rachel. I didn't have to worry about a single thing. They kept everyone on schedule, the venue was set up absolutely perfectly, and they had all the little details covered. I was able to be fully present and enjoy every moment, which is the greatest gift they could have given us.
Sarah made one of the most important days of our lives completely magical and stress-free. We're forever grateful!"

"I was hesitant about paying for full-service planning but I’M SO GLAD I DID!!! Laura was amazing to work with & I can’t imagine how much more stressful it would’ve been had I not gone that route. I wanted to be hands-off since I work a full-time job so she made it easy by being my second brain 🤭 She & the team killed it on wedding day. We had a large guest count & they went over & beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. It was the most perfect & amazing day. 10/10. No regrets!!!"

"Our wedding was on 9/14/24 at the Oaks at Salem. Southern Skies were the required wedding planning vendor for this venue and THANK GOD! Going into wedding planning, I truly did not know where to begin. As we all know weddings are expensive however this is one area that looking back I am glad I did not cheap out on. This day would not have been as perfect as it was without them.
We had the absolute pleasure of working with Jen who is truly a godsend. From our first phone call through the entire wedding planning process she was helpful, honest and responsive. She went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. The respect that she has gained from all other vendor teams was apparent. Her team (Cole and Rebecca) were also amazing. They supported us and were there for whatever we needed. We had a little hiccup with transportation at the end of evening and Jen and her team handled everything. She even sent over a detailed timeline of what happened for me the next day to discuss with the transportation company.
We had guests coming up to us all night saying how great and smooth everything went. If you are looking for a wedding planner, just stop right here!!!"

"Southern Skies is amazing! Jen and Laura helped my husband and I plan not one but two weddings in the same day and they pulled them off without a problem! Jen and Laura were absolutely wonderful to work with and they always made sure that I wasn't overwhelmed and I honestly don't know what I would have done without their help. Jen helped plan and coordinate our Indian ceremony and Laura helped plan and coordinate our American ceremony, so if you're looking for fusion wedding, Southern Skies definitely has the expertise! Jen and Laura knew my husband and I were huge NC State fans and surprised us with Mr. Wuf at our reception! It was the best ending to the best day and I am so grateful for Jen and Laura and Southern Skies!"

"Adrianne was amazing! She was always available to discuss details or silly questions I may have had. On the day of she was quick and adaptive. She offered me to wear her wedding veil, and have her husband drive 45mins to drop it off, after I found out less than 3hours from our ceremony start time that we left my veil in another state! She made sure all of our little details were executed and helped me stay calm in the chaos during our big day! We would highly suggest Southern Skies and Adrianne."
