New Yorker turned North Carolinian, Laura is a long-time wedding pro and lover of vision boards. Outside of weddings, you'll find her spending time with her husband and two kiddos.

Jen was so thorough every step of the way: from designing a personal inspiration board, accompanying me to each and every appointment, helping me narrow down vendors that were in my price range and thinking of all the small, tiny, details that helped separate our wedding day from any other- it was absolute perfection. Her attention to detail, professionalism, organization, time management skills and all of the resources she provided made planning my wedding almost as much fun as the actual wedding.

Another North Carolinian we stole from New York, Christina is a lover of the arts and all things creative. Find her connecting with local artists, creating TikToks or watching design videos in her spare time.

A full-time nurse, Sarah is sweet, funny and extremely caring. She loves connecting with her couples on a personal level, guiding them through planning and staying friends after the wedding. In her spare time, you'll find her running, hanging with her dog, Sasha and son, Brodie, usually with the ocean in the background.

New mom and two-time Raleighite, Morgan is a firm believer in happily ever after. When she's not working or enjoying snuggles with her English Bulldog, Franklin, cat, Grits or new bundle of joy, you may find her out on the town antiquing.

Hi, I'm Jen, the driving force behind Southern Skies—a homage to the peaceful and unspoiled skies of North Carolina. I've been creating professional, memorable events since 2014 and my vision for Southern Skies is to design unforgettable weddings that reflect each couple's individuality, all while embracing a relaxed and enjoyable planning process. True to my belief that every milestone is an occasion, I love to celebrate the everyday! I rarely shut my laptop since I LOVE my work, but when I do, I'm delving into a new wine (or my favorite bubbly), catching up with friends over brunch, or feeding my passion for travel.

Re-joining us in Raleigh after a short stint in Wilmington, NC, Cole has a passion for planning and florals. Her heart is set on weddings and she's in for the long haul. She loves nothing more than creating an unforgettable day that tells your unique story! When she's not working, you'll find her spending time with her family, friends, and her furry sidekick (who just happens to share her name!) She enjoys a good laugh and making memories with those she loves.

A transplant from Maryland, Bria is sweet, calm and incredibly organized. She loves cultural events and learning about all the traditions from around the world. When she's not working, you'll find her exploring a different country with friends or making memories with her boyfriend.

My first taste of event etiquette came when I took Cotillion at a local country club. We learned how to set a table, when guys should button/unbutton their jackets, how to dance, how to eat and drink properly, and other pieces  that have served me well in my career! 

I got my horse + buggy license when I was just 8 years old while attending farm camp here in NC. It's laminated which means it's valid forever, right?

I'm an extremely picky eater, but one thing I never say 'no' to is Mexican food! When I get married in the future, I fully plan to swap a traditional cake cutting for a queso fountain and feeding each other tortilla chips!
